THE Hurricanes certainly lived up to their name by storming to more than a century of points against their shellshocked visitors to The Fairway on Saturday.

The good-sized crowd were treated to one of the most one-sided games the team had ever played to stay top of the Counties 2 Hampshire League table.
In a spectacular display of skill, Sandown and Shanklin scored a remarkable 15 tries, with Ash Smith producing the game's stand-out performance, which included four tries.
Adding to the excitement, young talent, Ben Booth, notched up his first senior try — marking a memorable moment in the game.
The hosts' dominant display left spectators, exhilarated, and their opponents in awe, setting the stage for a potentially exciting season ahead.
The Hurricanes led 43-0 at half time, scoring six tries — among them a 20-minute hat-trick from Smith, with Tom Marriott, skipper Jacob Jordan and Harvey Kirkby, who added a further 11 points from his boot.
Sandown added a further nine tries in the second half as Tottonians wilted, courtesy of Chris Ormerod, Luke Wedderkop, Zak Chiverton, Ben Booth, Michael Barrett, Sam Rees, second tries for Jordan and Marriott and Smith's fourth.
Kirkby finished the day with impressive 32 points.
The club's director of rugby, Damien Marriott, said: "I am immensely proud of the outstanding performance put in today in a resounding victory.
"The lads executed our game plan flawlessly. Each player's hard work and dedication on the training pitch has really paid off recently.
"It is really important we stay grounded, but carry this momentum forward, as some huge games approach thick and fast."
